Obsimo

Obsimo, a French artist now based in Brussels and first noticed through Les Inouïs at the Printemps de Bourges, has been carving out a continuous trajectory within the independent electronic scene since the late 2010s. Active both live and in the studio, he has multiplied collaborations — notably with Jacques, Hector Gachan and Giorgio Armani — and in 2025 releases Life Balance +, a twelve-track project that extends the work begun with Life Balance (2023), centered on precise writing and a long format conceived as a coherent cycle. Also highlighted by the BPM Contest, Obsimo has over the years consolidated a singular identity, positioned between electronic experimentation and more direct structures. His performances rely on live manipulation of his rig, with sequences triggered and transformed in real time within an evolving set. Through residencies, collaborations and ongoing production, Obsimo pursues a program of formal exploration that affirms his place in the francophone electronic landscape.
