Solya
Situated between the plains of West Texas and North America’s independent scenes, Solya is developing a project that blends indie pop, psychedelic rock and grunge with touches of country and electronic elements. Initially active as a self‑taught musician recording at home, Solya began releasing a series of self‑produced tracks in 2023 that established a soundworld both hazy and direct, anchored by introspective songwriting. This first phase quickly opened doors to the stage, with shows across the United States and later a co‑headlining role on the “Bugs and Butterflies” tour alongside Baby Bugs in autumn 2024. In March 2025 she played several dates in the United Kingdom before performing at the Troubadour in West Hollywood in September 2025 — a landmark moment in structuring her touring activity. Informed by these experiences, Solya’s music explores contrasts between bright pop melodies, dreamlike textures and more saturated guitars, while retaining the intimate quality of her beginnings. A debut studio album, “Queen of Texas,” is announced for March 2026 on the Version III label, accompanied by a 28‑date headlining tour across the United States and Canada — the next step in the evolution of the Solya project.
