Info
On December 21, 2026, at the Théâtre Édouard VII in Paris, Alain Chamfort takes the stage with 'Le meilleur de moi-même,' a concert conceived as a panorama of more than fifty years of songs. A pianist by training, he began in the energy of the early yé-yé scene before being spotted by Claude François, then refined his signature through a solo career in which French pop intersected with meticulously crafted lyrics. This concert highlights what defines Chamfort: a way of telling his era without affectation, an elegance of line, and a fondness for collaborations that mattered, notably the decisive meeting with Serge Gainsbourg in the 1970s. Between tracks that linger in the mind and pieces that sketch a coherent body of work, 'Le meilleur de moi-même' promises a tightly curated set, faithful to his vision and his style, with the simple idea of revisiting a repertoire built over time.
