Info
On 24 April 2027, Alfie Jukes comes to Luxor in Cologne — an evening for everyone who enjoys British indie-pop that stays intimate while remaining instantly catchy. The singer-songwriter from Brighton writes about relationships, growing up, and that quiet, steady hum of doubt and everyday life that you know well, even if you don't often hear it so clearly in songs.
Live, Jukes brings his melodic, direct tracks to the stage with a smooth voice, carried by light guitars, tidy arrangements, and choruses that exert their effect almost casually. After the early push with 'Spiderwebs' and the EP Little Omens, he has sharpened his sound further, most recently with Sitting Pretty. Those who have seen him as a supporting act on tour know: this works not only through headphones, but especially in a room, when intimate lines suddenly become communal singing.
