Info
Margate Soul Weekender 2027 lands at Margate Lido Complex in Margate on 6 August 2027, turning the seaside into a proper soul-forward meet-up built around live sets and DJ culture. This edition puts En Vogue in the spotlight: the Oakland vocal group that shaped ’90s R&B with tight, stacked harmonies and that mix of new jack swing bounce, smooth ballads and pop-leaning hooks. Expect a set that plays to their ensemble strength, where voices work like a band and the groove stays front and center.
After decades of lineup changes, En Vogue’s current formation keeps the focus on collective singing and classic songwriting, the kind that shifts effortlessly from crisp, rhythmic tracks to slower, more polished arrangements. In the middle of a weekender format, it’s a chance to catch their catalogue in a setting made for dancing, singalongs and the shared energy that comes with a crowd gathered around soul music.
