Info
Margate Soul Weekender lands on Sunday 8 August 2027 at the Margate Lido Complex with En Vogue taking the headline slot, bringing their live band to the seaside for a sunset set. Born out of Oakland’s late-’80s R&B scene, the group built its reputation on tight ensemble singing and stacked harmonies, balancing crisp grooves with smoother ballads and more polished pop-leaning production. Expect a set that nods to the different phases of their catalogue, from the early ’90s breakthrough years through later eras, always driven by that signature blend of soul, pop and new jack swing. It’s the kind of show made for open air: voices upfront, the band locking in, and a crowd ready to move from golden hour into the night.
