Info
On June 10, 2027, at Den Atelier, Clinton Fearon revives an essential page of roots history with 'Clinton Fearon Sings The Gladiators'. Bassist, vocalist and songwriter, he joined The Gladiators in 1969 and helped shape their repertoire, blending social chronicles, spirituality, and a lucid view of Jamaican daily life. On stage, he reprises this heritage with his groove-driven approach to melodic bass lines, a calm, highly narrative voice, and classic reggae rhythms that leave ample room for the words.
Later based in Seattle, Fearon has also broadened his range, alternating electric formats with leaner versions, sometimes close to acoustic. This concert promises a journey through his roots and his heart's songs, carried by a lively, direct interpretation, and a unique way of telling Jamaica, memory, and the world's tensions, without overdoing it.
