Info
Popstars: the Originals brings Hear’Say and Liberty X back to the same stage, in Sheffield on May 12, 2027, for a night that rewinds to early-2000s UK pop.
Hear’Say were built for the single era: bright hooks, tight harmonies, and that TV-made shine that turned Pure and Simple into an instant moment. Expect the set to lean into their quick-fire run of radio-ready tracks from the Popstars period, with the punchy choruses and softer ballads that defined their short but loud first chapter.
Liberty X come from the other side of the story, shaped by the finalists who didn’t make the winning line-up and then carved out their own pop-R&B lane. From Thinking It Over and Doin’ It through Just a Little, they mixed UK pop polish with a more soulful groove and club-friendly edges, later folding in electronic touches. In Sheffield, it’s all about the hits and the feel of a group that kept evolving beyond the TV origin.
