After 15 years, My Dying Bride return to Italy for Easter Disaster Fest: the date is March 28, 2027 at the Slaughter Club in Paderno Dugnano. Born in 1990 in West Yorkshire around Aaron Stainthorpe and Andrew Craighan, they are one of the key names of British death-doom, with a slow and heavy sound that alternates doom riffs and death-metal infusions, between clean vocals, growls, and those cold, cinematic atmospheres that have made them recognizable since their early days.
From the rougher early period to the more funeral and melodic writing of records such as Turn Loose the Swans and The Angel and the Dark River, the band has continued to change textures without betraying its identity: experimentation, returns to a heavier impact, arrangements that at different stages have given room to violin and keyboards. Live, one can expect a set that traverses these different seasons, between dark romanticism and metallic jolts, with that slow-burning tension that lingers with you even after the last note.
