Info
On December 12, 2026, Roni Size lands at 229 London for a night rooted in the Bristol strain of drum and bass that helped shape the genre. As the key force behind Roni Size & Reprazent, he pushed jungle into a wider, sharper sound, built on heavy bass pressure, intricate breaks, and a taste for crossover: jazz and soul touches, flashes of hip-hop attitude, and that live feel that set his crew apart.
If you came up on New Forms, this show is a chance to reconnect with the record that flipped the script in 1997, when it took the Mercury Prize and dragged drum and bass into the mainstream conversation without sanding off its edges. Expect a set that moves fast but stays detailed, mixing classic Reprazent energy with the kind of forward-leaning selections Roni Size has kept polishing across decades of releases and club nights.
