Info
Royal Blood land in Milan for a live set at Alcatraz on March 5, 2027, and the promise is simple: a duo that sounds like a much bigger band. Built around Mike Kerr’s bass taking up the space of a guitar and Ben Thatcher’s tight, driving drums, their music hits that sweet spot between hard rock, garage grit, stoner weight and blues tension, always with sharp, no-wasted-seconds songwriting.
Since breaking out with “Out of the Black” and making the festival rounds, Royal Blood have kept evolving without losing the punch of the two-piece format. You can expect the lean aggression of the early records, the more dance-friendly pulse they explored on Typhoons, and the direct, back-to-basics edge of Back to the Water Below. Live, it’s about impact, groove, and riffs that feel physical, with zero filler and a crowd that moves as one.
