Info
Exeter Laughter Lab lands at Exeter Phoenix on November 16, 2026 for a straight-up night of live stand-up built around three distinct comic voices.
Closing the show, Tom Rosenthal brings the sharp, slightly sideways storytelling that’s made him a familiar face on British TV, from Friday Night Dinner to Plebs. On stage, he leans into inventive writing and a delivery that can switch from warm to awkward in a beat, with the kind of set that rewards close listening as much as it gets big laughs.
Opening duties go to Greg Winfield, a writer-performer with TV credits and a punchy, modern rhythm shaped by years of online momentum. Holding it all together is host Tom Rodgers, a high-energy MC known for keeping rooms lively and crowd-ready, steering the night between tight stand-up sets and quick-fire audience connection.
