Info
On March 18, 2027, Tommy Emmanuel brings his CGP show to the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, with very special guest Molly Tuttle. Emmanuel’s solo sets are built around his trademark fingerstyle approach: bass lines, chords, melody and percussive hits all happening at once, pulling from country, jazz, pop, rock, blues and bluegrass without ever losing the thread. With decades of records behind him and the Chet Atkins legacy in his hands, this is a night that puts the acoustic guitar front and center as a full band in itself.
Opening the bill, Molly Tuttle arrives from Nashville with her mix of contemporary bluegrass and Americana, powered by sharp flatpicking and story-driven songwriting. Known for moving easily between broader roots textures and a clear return to bluegrass with her Golden Highway era, she sets the tone with songs that feel lived-in, direct, and built for the stage.
