Info
On May 19, 2027, Lisa LeBlanc arrives at the Trabendo in Paris with her distinctive blend of Acadian folk-rock, Chiac-inflected phrasing, and choruses that switch seamlessly from French to English. On stage, it all stems from a writing rooted in everyday life, carried by a direct delivery and an energy sometimes raw, between guitar and banjo, as in her early days marked by her self-titled album. But the concert is not limited to this 'trash-folk' side: across her records, she has widened the frame, seeking harsher textures on Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen?, then a more danceable turn with Chiac Disco, where the rhythms become more pop and contagious. In Paris, she plays precisely on this pivot: telling stories, raising the tempo, and keeping intact this straightforward way of singing her language and her territory.
