Info
High Fade arrives at Marché Gare in Lyon on March 19, 2027 with their trio as compact as it is effective: Harry Valentino on guitar and vocals, Oliver Sentence on bass, and Heath Campbell on drums. Born on the streets of Edinburgh before heating up stages across the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe, they made a name for themselves with tracks like Burnt Toast & Coffee, Gossip, or Burnin’, not to mention their well-judged cover of Herbie Hancock’s Chameleon. On stage, their funk-rock moves forward as a solid block, fed as much by disco and soul as by jazz, punk, or heavier moments. It jams, it grooves, it shifts direction without warning, with that blend of retro feeling and urgent, very current energy. After Life’s Too Fast (2024) and an extended tour, the Lyon show promises to be a new opportunity to measure how far three musicians can push the energy and dynamics of live performance.
