On 16 November 2026 at District in Liverpool, Lots of Hands and Sundots meet for a night built around quiet intensity and careful songwriting.
Lots of Hands, the Newcastle–Leeds duo formed by Billy Woodhouse and Elliot Dryden, work in that in-between space where indie folk brushes against bedroom pop, ambient drift, and discreet electronics. Looping guitars, hushed ballads, and short instrumental passages give their songs room to breathe, with melodies that stay clear even when the writing turns fragmentary. It’s intimate music, shaped by distance, demos traded back and forth, and a taste for restraint.
Sundots, the Connecticut project led by Drew Collins, comes from a DIY, experimental background but keeps things direct: slowcore patience, freak-folk edges, ambient textures, and indie-rock structure. The songs often unfold in a low voice, carried by small details as much as choruses, with lyrics that feel like a stream of thoughts about youth, attachment, and change.
