Info
On May 14, 2027, Chris de Burgh brings his “It’s Never Too Late Tour 2027” to The Anvil in Basingstoke, for a night built around the kind of melodic songwriting he’s been shaping for decades. Expect a set that leans into his signature mix of pop rock and soft rock, where story songs and romantic ballads sit next to more folk-tinged moments, all carried by a voice that puts the narrative front and center.
From the early storytelling of Spanish Train and Other Stories to the big 80s run that made his songs staples for adult contemporary crowds, his concerts are about pacing and atmosphere as much as hooks. “The Lady in Red” naturally has its place, but the live show also leaves room for deeper cuts and later material, keeping the focus on craft, melody, and the pleasure of a well-told song.
