On 6 February 2027, Bonobo lands at Brighton Centre in Brighton for a night built around his signature blend of melodic electronics and deep, patient grooves. Behind the name is Simon Green, a producer and DJ who’s spent years shaping a sound where downtempo, trip-hop, nu-jazz and carefully placed acoustic touches all live together without forcing it. Expect tracks that move with supple rhythms and muted bass, where strings, brass and soul influences can surface just as easily as club-minded pressure.
From the earlier Ninja Tune era through albums like Black Sands and The North Borders, and on to the more wide-open palettes of Migration and Fragments, Bonobo’s music is made for both close listening and a room full of bodies. Whether he leans into the live energy he’s known for or keeps it sharper and more direct, the point stays the same: detail, flow, and a set that knows how to breathe.
