On October 30, 2026, in Paris, Deep Forest makes a stop at Sunset Sunside for an evening where electronic music meets world music, a journey through light and shadow. Born in the early 1990s around Éric Mouquet (after the duo formed with Michel Sanchez), the project established an instantly recognizable signature: downtempo rhythms, synthetic textures, ethereal atmospheres and traditional vocals drawn from diverse cultures.
On stage, one can expect to revisit the major milestones of the repertoire, from the Deep Forest album and its hypnotic atmosphere to the records that broadened the spectrum, spanning Eastern Europe, Latin America, Brazil, India, and Africa. Deep Forest is also a story of collaborations and continual reinventions: the opportunity to rediscover those motifs that cling to the skin, brought back to life in a live version, more organic, between gentle trance and electronic pulsation.
