On 14 September 2027, Passenger brings his songs to O2 City Hall Newcastle for a night built around what he does best: simple, story-driven folk-pop delivered with an acoustic guitar and that instantly familiar voice. Behind the name is Mike Rosenberg, a British singer-songwriter whose path ran from early band days to a fully solo project, shaped by years of busking and a very direct way of writing about everyday moments.
Expect a set that moves between indie folk and soft folk rock, with understated melodies, tight arrangements and plenty of space for lyrics to land. From the breakthrough era of All the Little Lights to later records like Birds That Flew and Ships That Sailed, Passenger’s live shows tend to keep things stripped back and human, leaning on confession, observation and warm choruses rather than big production.
