Gently Tender is Palma Violets' post-era, a wide-angle take: Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle have formed this six-piece from south London with Francesca Brierley, Adam Brown and Evie Hilyer-Ziegler. Their indie rock leans into thick harmonies and pastoral melodies, with nods to folk, punk and soul without overdoing it. The first album, produced by Matthew E. White in 2022, already established this blend of bright guitars and discreet tension. On 9 November 2026 at The Cluny in Newcastle upon Tyne, the band will also bring new tracks announced for spring 2026.
Also on the bill, 60juno hails from Merced, California, and pushes DIY indie-rock toward a more nerve-wracking post-punk. A deep voice, raw energy, and a melodic sense that turns nostalgia into dreamy choruses: everything is performed solo, from bass to drums, guitar and vocals included. A direct project, built for the live scene and for tracks that grab you without over-emphasizing.
