Overmono head to Rough Trade Bristol for a special DJ set on 9 August 2026, to mark the release of their new album Pure Devotion on XL. Behind this name are brothers Tom and Ed Russell — also known through their projects Truss and Tessela — who bring a distinctly UK club vision, blending taut techno, breakbeat, garage and bass music, with a taste for fractured rhythms, pounding basslines and sampled vocals that stick. In a DJ set, the duo deftly links rave energy with a more finely honed listening, continuing their landmark releases and their recent work on formats that lean toward song-oriented arrangements without losing the dancefloor thread. Expect a direct, precise set, crafted for movement, where textures and ruptures serve both groove and tension.
