Skinshape is the project of the London-based multi-instrumentalist and producer William Dorey, known for composing and recording almost everything himself, with a keen ear for warm, organic textures. His music blends psychedelic soul, smooth funk, dub and Afrobeat, in a balance between hazy lo-fi groove and well-crafted arrangements. Hypnotic basslines, bright guitars, and punchy rhythms push the tracks into a space between laid-back and cinematic, always guided by melody and atmosphere.
Live, Skinshape comes to life as a band, recreating these layers with vintage instruments and more open dub effects, leaving room for the stage dynamics without losing the analog edge that defines the sound. It's Skinshape's first time in Lisbon, for a concert on November 22, 2026, at Casa Capitão.
