Alestorm arrives in Poznań on August 9, 2026 at TAMA with its black-flag power/folk metal, built on fast riffs, prominent keyboards, and choruses designed to be sung along by the crowd. Born in Scotland in the mid-2000s (initially under the name Battleheart), the band laid out its universe from Captain Morgan's Revenge, then followed with Black Sails at Midnight and Back Through Time, establishing its tales of naval battles, treasure and revelry. Across albums such as Sunset on the Golden Age, No Grave but the Sea, Curse of the Crystal Coconut, or Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, the formula has evolved: more catchy melodies, an unflinching energy, and that deliberately offbeat tone that turns the concert into a grand collective moment. Metal de Facto will open the evening with direct, melodic Finnish power metal, driven by precisely carved riffs and songwriting focused on historical narratives. Revealed with Imperium Romanum (2019), the band has undergone lineup changes and a forced hiatus before returning with a tighter sound, faithful to the heritage of traditional power metal: clean vocals, omnipresent leads, efficient structures, without a symphonic overload.
