John Summit

On June 27, 2026 John Summit will be at the Georg Elser Halle in Hamburg. The DJ and producer from Chicago has developed a house language that aims squarely at the dancefloor: clear basslines, dry drums and space for melodic resolutions. With “Deep End” he came into the spotlight in 2020; since then his tracks have opened up more to vocals without losing their club edge. In his sets the structure of US house meets tech house, progressive elements and occasional trance-tinged moments — built for seamless transitions between driving groove and melodic peaks.

Alongside his own releases, remixes and collaborations — for example with Hayla and Kaskade — shape his profile; he also runs a label and event series called Experts Only. In Hamburg he brings this range to the decks: powerful club energy, distinctive hooks, precise breaks and build-ups — a signature from the Chicago school that works as well on big floors today as it does in an intimate club.
