Headache

On 1 December 2026 at HERE at Outernet in London, Headache takes the stage. The London-based project brings together writer and poet Francis Hornsby Clark and English producer Joseph Thornalley, also known as Vegyn. Their live set sits at the meeting point of text and electronics: Clark’s voice, close and unadorned, threads through Thornalley’s productions, shifting from sparse loops to more layered sequences. Words, fragments and rhythms play off each other, trading tempo for texture and letting silences speak as much as the sound. Rather than a classic band format, Headache treats the stage like a page and a studio at once, testing phrasing, repetition and timing in real time. The performance moves between spoken pieces and instrumental passages, building a narrative without locking into one genre. It’s an encounter between a writer’s cadence and a producer’s ear, showing how poetry and electronic music can share the same pulse in a live setting.
