Brought to fame by her single "Banana Split," Lio is a leading figure of francophone pop. The release of "Banana Split" in 1979 paved the way for a string of hits such as "Amoureux solitaires," "Amicalement vôtre" and "Week-end à Rome," a duet with Étienne Daho. With 11 albums to her name, Lio returns with a 12th studio album, Geoid Party in the Sky, born from a desire to return to her first passions and to pay tribute to the encounters life has given her. Her new project brings together artists from the new generation of pop: Louane, Hoshi, Corine, Isia Marie, Betta Lemme, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Marie Darrieussecq and Sofia Portanet have all agreed to write for her. Each song arises from an encounter and a sharing, and addresses themes that resonate with women of all generations.
