Ibeyi - Tournée

On 14 November 2026, Ibeyi return to l’Antipode, Rennes. Since their beginnings, twins Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz have been shaping a hybrid soul in which contemporary R&B, downtempo and electronic pop intersect with Yoruba and Afro‑Cuban rhythms. One sings and plays piano and keyboards, the other supplies the rhythmic drive on cajón and batá drums; together they weave intertwined voices and percussion into a multilingual dialogue — English, French, Spanish, Yoruba.

Born in Paris and nurtured by Havana and a strong family legacy, they signed to XL Recordings and have drawn a clear line: the organic restraint of their debut album Ibeyi (2015), the sonic openness of Ash (2017), then the more direct songwriting of Spell 31 (2022), following a notable appearance in Beyoncé’s Lemonade. On stage, the duo alternates inherited chants and pop hooks, muted beats and electronic textures, letting silences breathe as much as the grooves. It’s a live show where each batá strike answers the keyboard harmonies, where languages echo one another and where the rhythmic trance anchors instantly memorable melodies.
