Gilbert Montagné

Gilbert Montagné returns to the stage on May 9, 2027 at Atlantia - Palais des congrès et des festivals in La Baule-Escoublac. A singer, songwriter and pianist who has left his mark on French popular music, he presents L’Amour dans ses mains, a new album true to his signature style, blending driving grooves, pop touches and more melancholic shades. The piano remains at the heart of the performance, with arrangements that emphasize rhythm and straightforward songwriting.

On the programme is a journey through his essentials such as The Fool, On va s’aimer, Les Sunlights des Tropiques, Liberté, Le blues de toi and Musicienne, reinterpreted with a rhythm section tinged with soul-disco. Nearly twenty years after Get Ready and almost ten years after La Niña, this new chapter brings together danceable tracks and more intimate ballads, conceived for the stage. An evening focused on music and sharing, propelled by a repertoire the audience knows by heart and the infectious energy of an artist who has stayed true to his groove.
