Since The Pirate’s Gospel first drew attention to her stark, homespun folk, Diane has shifted settings without losing the core of her writing: the calm focus of To Be Still, the band dynamic of Alela Diane & Wild Divine, the spare intimacy of About Farewell, a detour with Ryan Francesconi on Cold Moon, then the piano and strings that colour Cusp and Looking Glass. This concert gathers those threads, blending new material with key songs from across her catalogue, arranged for a small ensemble that keeps the detail intact while giving each piece room to breathe.
