Info
On 5 June 2026 at Manchester Academy, Ye Vagabonds bring the songs and close-knit harmonies of brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn. Starting out as street buskers, they’ve grown into a fluid collective; on stage, layered acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, upright bass, Moog, harmonium, bouzouki and fiddle orbit around the siblings’ blood harmony and multi-hued voices.
Recognised at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards with Best Track, Best Album and Best Folk Group, the duo stands within a new wave of Irish folk while keeping a firm hold on tradition. Their 2026 studio album All Tied Together, recorded mostly live in an old Galway house with producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker), extends that approach with live-in-room textures and unhurried arrangements that foreground voice and ensemble interplay.
Support comes from Finnegan Tui, the New Zealand-born, London-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose folk roots meet ambient electronics, slow-bloom rhythms and layered choral lines.
