Info
Seasick Steve brings his road-worn blues to London on 3 June 2026 at The Garage. Born Steven Gene Wold in Oakland, he shaped a sound that leans into country blues, boogie and blues rock, built on slide guitar, harmonica and stripped-down percussion. Before the Seasick Steve moniker took hold in the mid-2000s with Cheap and Dog House Music, he spent decades moving between bands, touring, and studio work on both sides of the Atlantic, refining a direct, unpolished approach that comes alive on stage.
The set draws across a deep catalogue: I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most of It Left, Man from Another Time, You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks, Hubcap Music, Sonic Soul Surfer, and the recent A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down On Your Knees. Live, it’s all about pulse and feel: open tunings, gritty slides, a harmonica cutting through the mix, and rhythms kept close to the floor. Stories slip between songs, grooves stretch and snap back, and the guitar carries the weight. A no-frills show, focused and physical, in a room made for it.
