Info
Stephen Sanchez lands at Bristol Beacon, Bristol, on 9 May 2026 with his retro-pop songbook cut from 50s rock’n’roll and 60s orchestral pop. Raised in Sacramento and now based in Nashville, he first drew attention online before signing to Republic Records and shaping a craft focused on voice, romance and vintage-leaning arrangements. From the early spark of Lady by the Sea to the EPs What Was, Not Now and Easy on My Eyes, then the debut album Angel Face in 2023, he has built a narrative world around a crooner persona without losing the immediacy of classic ballads. On stage, expect intimate writing scaled up for a pop band with soul colors, melodies that lean into nostalgia, and a delivery that keeps the spotlight on the grain of his voice.
Tors open the night. The Devon trio of brothers Matt and Theo Weedon with Jack Bowden blend indie folk and pop, held together by close harmonies and clean guitars. Their songwriting circles around relationships, family and everyday moments, moving from hushed ballads to more rhythmic cuts carried by choral hooks. Known for stripped-back live takes, they bring arrangements that favor collective vocals and a direct, warm presence.
