Airbag bring their Argentine rock DNA to Birmingham on 23 October 2026, taking over O2 Academy Birmingham. Formed in Don Torcuato in the late 90s, the trio of brothers Patricio, Guido and Gastón Sardelli moved from teenage covers under the name Los Nietos de Chuck to a catalogue that tracks two decades of rock in Spanish. Their early records — Airbag, Blanco y negro and Una hora a Tokyo — leaned into pop rock, pop punk and alternative textures; later albums like Vorágine, Libertad, Mentira la verdad, Al parecer todo ha sido una trampa and the recent El club de la pelea I shift the balance toward hard rock muscle, bluesy colour and slow-burning ballads.

On stage, the current line-up puts the guitars up front, with Guido trading the drum stool for six strings and vocals alongside Patricio’s lead, while Gastón anchors the low end. Expect a set that splices tight riffs with singalong choruses and room for solos, moving from sharp, fast cuts to mid-tempo anthems without losing focus. After years on Latin American and Spanish circuits and slots with international rock acts, Airbag arrive in the UK with a show built on craft, energy and melody, spanning their timeline and letting the new songs sit naturally beside earlier favourites.
