Militarie Gun bring their sharp, melody-forward punk to Chalk, Brighton and Hove on 10 June 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in 2020 by vocalist and songwriter Ian Shelton (Regional Justice Center), the band — Nick Cogan, William Acuña, Max Epstein and Vince Nguyen — has shaped a tense sound sitting between American hardcore roots and rough-edged indie rock. Early EPs My Life Is Over and the twin All Roads Lead to the Gun I & II set the tone: short, efficient songs, wiry guitars and clear, urgent vocals. The 2022 collaboration with Dazy on Pressure Cooker pushed the melodic line further, before their first album Life Under the Gun arrived in 2023 on Loma Vista Recordings. On stage, Militarie Gun keep it direct and tight, all immediacy and grit with room for the chorus to land. Special guests join the bill.
