RnB Summer Ball brings TLC, BLACKstreet and Jodeci to The O2 in London on 19 June 2026 for a live snapshot of US R&B across the 90s and beyond.
TLC, formed in Atlanta in the early 90s, now appears as the duo T-Boz and Chilli, prolonging the group’s blend of R&B, hip‑hop soul, new jack swing and pop melodies. From Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip to CrazySexyCool and FanMail, their catalogue glides from rough‑edged grooves to sleeker, synth‑tinted textures. On stage, they play the balance between harmonies, rap cadences and direct hooks, with lyrics circling relationships, autonomy and women’s lived experience.
BLACKstreet, founded by Teddy Riley in 1991, bridges the new jack swing blueprint with smoother contemporary R&B and layered vocal arrangements. With a changing lineup over the years, the group marked the decade with Blackstreet and Another Level, home to No Diggity with Dr. Dre and Queen Pen, awarded a Grammy in 1998. Their sound leans on hip‑hop soul, tight harmonies and groove‑led production.
Jodeci, from Charlotte, unites the DeGrate and Hailey brothers around gospel‑forged vocals, new jack swing signatures and a rawer urban edge. From Forever My Lady to Diary of a Mad Band and The Show, the After Party, the Hotel, the quartet moves from romantic ballads to darker, sensual textures, before resurfacing in 2015 with The Past, the Present, the Future.
