Allie X

On 28 October 2026 at the O2 Institute Birmingham, Allie X presents a taut live show that sits between synth-pop, art pop and shadowy electronics. Born in Ontario and now based in Los Angeles, Alexandra Ashley Hughes has, from the start, crafted a pop language in which introspective writing converses with conceptual imagery. From the early flashes of Catch and the CollXtion series to Super Sunset, and on to the darker narratives of Cape God, her trajectory draws a clear line between persona and confession.

On stage, this work is embodied in a carefully shaped presentation: stylized silhouettes, controlled gestures, and visual dramaturgy serving the songs. Her album Girl With No Face, released in 2024, pushes these dense textures and crisp melodies further, with cold‑wave touches that take on greater depth in a live setting. The set weaves new tracks with standout songs from her early years, rearranged for the stage. A co-writer for other figures in international pop, including Troye Sivan, Allie X approaches the concert as a space where image, sound and emotion align with precision.
