Info

Teenage Bottlerocket return to Rome on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Traffic Club. Born in Laramie, Wyoming, and raised on melodic punk, TBR have honed a fast, direct sound built around hooks. On stage they keep to the essentials: no gimmicks, just energy, melody and that controlled chaos that holds you from the first song to the last. Ray Carlisle leads the charge on vocals and guitar alongside Kody Templeman, while the rhythm section drives relentlessly. Expect short tracks, immediate choruses and that rehearsal-room attitude that works best loud.

At the center of the set will be their latest album, Ready to Roll, a record that reasserts their formula after more than twenty years on the road. “We just wanted to write fun songs to play,” the band says: no calculations, just punk rock the way it feels right to them. Recorded with friend and producer Andrew Berlin and mastered by Jason Livermore, the album moves with urgency, sharp melodies and little detours that keep you on your toes. The single “She’s the Shit” is a fast, brazen love song inspired by Ray Carlisle’s wife, ready to turn into a singalong in front of the stage.
