Michel Fugain - C'est l'histoire d'une belle histoire

Michel Fugain returns to Quebec with C’est l’histoire d’une belle histoire, a concert that retraces a career begun in the 1960s and propelled in 1972 by the Big Bazar. A songwriter, composer and performer, he has built a repertoire where collective momentum, choral harmonies and a clear pop sensibility blend with direct lyrics, conceived for the stage.

On the program is a return to the songs that have stood the test of time, ranging from classics to more recent numbers. Audiences will encounter touchstones such as Fais comme l’oiseau, Une belle histoire, La Fête and La vie, l’amour, among others — pieces that map out a trajectory defined by unifying choruses, open arrangements and a constant desire to circulate energy between the stage and the house.

On April 18, 2027, at the Théâtre du Casino in Gatineau, Michel Fugain connects eras and revisits the colors of the Big Bazar as well as his solo ventures, in a stage format that leaves room for the songs and for what they still have to say today.
