Silicone Soul

On 17 July 2026 at the Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf, performance meets club culture. Julia Bünnagel and Shunsuke Oshio present two distinct positions that focus attention squarely on the live event: concentrated, sensual, and close to sound, body, and space. Without much adornment, they rely on direct gestures and precise interventions—a beginning that sharpens the ear and opens up the room.

The club night follows with DJ sets by Silicone Soul and Voltmar. Silicone Soul, the Glasgow duo Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie, have stood since the late 1990s for a British strand of house built on groove, repetition, and subtle depths. Shaped by releases on Soma Quality Recordings and their own label Darkroom Dubs, they pair dancefloor efficiency with restrained melodies and a darker texture. Their track "Right On!" with Louise Claire Marshall brought them wide club recognition early on; since then they have steadily explored the interstices of house history as producers and DJs. Voltmar completes the lineup with a set that neatly brings the night together.
