From the retro-charged Love Tattoo and Mayhem to the rawer Tribal, her early albums carried a rock’n’roll pulse fed by blues and melody. With Life Love Flesh Blood, produced by T Bone Burnett, she shifted toward a more stripped-back folk and soft rock approach, before opening a spoken word chapter with Slip of the Tongue and widening the palette again on 11 Past the Hour, alongside guests like Noel Gallagher and Ronnie Wood.
