Shinedown brings Dance, Kid, Dance Act II to Dublin on 22 November 2026 at 3Olympia Theatre. Formed in Jacksonville in the early 2000s, the quartet built its identity around Brent Smith’s vocals, Barry Kerch’s drums, Eric Bass on bass and keys, and Zach Myers on guitar. Their sound blends hard rock, post‑grunge and melodic metal, with a clear taste for big, sung refrains and guitar‑led ballads. From Leave a Whisper and Us and Them through The Sound of Madness and Amaryllis, the band shifted from raw edges to a more expansive production, while Threat to Survival and Attention Attention explored resilience, mental health and inner tensions, themes that take shape live between electric surges and stripped‑back passages.
