The Minds Of 99

On 6 July 2026 at Gæsten in Allinge-Sandvig, The Minds Of 99 bring their Danish-language rock that threads post-punk, new wave and alternative pop. Formed in Copenhagen in the early 2010s, the quintet—Niels Brandt (vocals), Asger Wissing (bass), Anders Folke Larsen (keys), Louis Clausen (drums) and Jakob Bechmann (guitar)—first drew attention with a KarriereKanonen win in 2013. Their self-titled debut (2014) set a raw, rhythmic base; Liber (2015) leaned into tighter pop structures; Solkongen (2018) widened the palette with melodic guitars and synth layers; Infinity Action (2021) shifted toward brighter tones.

On stage, the band centers Brandt’s upfront voice, a bass line that drives the songs, and synth patterns that brush against electronic pop while staying rooted in a Nordic rock tradition. The set moves on tight grooves, clear dynamics and choruses built for unison voices, carried by a collective approach that turns studio precision into live momentum.
