On Sunday, 9 August 2026, Ku Barcelona hosts a night focused on the DJ booth: James Hype arrives with his blend of house, tech house and echoes of the UK bass scene, characterized by solid basslines, vocal hooks and tense builds. Between Liverpool and London he refined a highly technical DJ approach—precise mixes and mashups that made him known across the UK scene. As a producer, tracks like "More Than Friends" and "Ferrari" sum up his preference for putting the voice up front and for tight, punchy drops, always with an eye on the dancefloor. Since 2020 he has driven Stereohype, a label and platform through which he releases his own material and that of like-minded artists, material he often tests in his sets.
