Meltt

Vancouver quartet Meltt brings its textural indie rock to The 27 Club in Ottawa on August 24, 2026. Since the mid-2010s, the band has shaped a sound where saturated yet melodic guitars meet luminous keyboards and weightless vocals, moving between alternative rock, dream pop and shoegaze. From the early Visions EP (2017) to the debut Swim Slowly (2019) and the more recent Eternal Embers (2023), their writing has grown more detailed and atmospheric, with lyrics circling nature’s cycles, transformation and introspection.

Composed at a distance then refined together in seclusion, the newer tracks lean on texture and dynamics, building immersive crescendos that open up on stage. Setlist staples like Love Again, On Your Own and Fool of You sit next to cuts from Another Quiet Sunday and Eternal Embers, carried by layered harmonies and a steady rhythmic pulse. A show built on space, reverb and detail, where melodies drift before snapping back into focus.
