Under the alias of German producer and DJ Tino Piontek, his modern disco-house draws on the funk and disco of the ’70s and ’80s: elastic basslines, hints of Italo-disco, clear melodies and catchy vocal hooks. Club highlights include “My House” and a long list of remixes, while his albums Soulmatic (2017) and Exotica (2021) cement that blend of retro warmth and contemporary electronic songwriting.
