Family Piknik Canada - Marie Vaunt - Belocca

Info

Family Piknik brings its Montreal debut to Sainte-Catherine Hall on May 15–16, 2026, for two days and two stages dedicated to techno and house. The crew sets up an immersive dancefloor playground where deep grooves rub shoulders with tougher, peak-time sounds, all shaped by an international and local lineup built for long, flowing sessions.

At the heart of it, Marie Vaunt drives a dark, melodic and acid-leaning techno sound forged between Los Angeles, Tokyo and the European circuit. Her sets balance heavy percussion, serrated textures and spectral vocal motifs, echoing releases across Kurai Records, Drumcode and beyond.

Josh Wink brings decades of acid know-how, twisting 303 lines and elastic rhythms into hypnotic momentum. Yulia Niko threads deep-tech shades and crisp, emotive house, with a touch for warm bass and tight percussion. Belocca pushes groove-forward techno with muscular low end, while Harmonik Kontrol takes it live, building pressure with hardware-driven patterns and evolving layers.

On the home front, Tom Pooks anchors the Family Piknik spirit with a sleek bridge between house and techno, joined by Kay Wagner and Siavash, staples for subtle builds and bold drops. Two days, two stages, one path through the spectrum of club music—right in the heart of Montreal.
