Laurent Voulzy en concert

Laurent Voulzy is back on the road and will stop in Toul on 23 April 2026 at the Salle de l'Arsenal. After his series of concerts in cathedrals and a hiatus devoted to writing and composing, he returns with a set that alternates acoustic and electric guitars, a clear voice and carefully crafted harmonies. A singer-songwriter influenced by Anglo-American pop and the French chanson tradition, he draws on several decades of material, blending finely honed melodies, memorable choruses and vocal arrangements.

On the program are songs that have accompanied countless listenings — from Rockollection to Le Soleil Donne, Belle-Île-en-Mer and Marie-Galante — rearranged for the stage, as well as pieces from more recent albums such as Lys & Love and Belem, which reveal atmospheric textures and supple rhythms. Between ballads and pop-driven pulses, this concert showcases the songs, the guitar work and the balance of voices, in a format that leaves room for nuance as much as for the pleasure of playing and sharing.
