Puma Blue

Puma Blue arrives in Milan on 10 May 2026 at Santeria Toscana 31. Behind the pseudonym is Jacob Allen, a producer and singer‑songwriter who grew up in South London and is now based in Atlanta. His music inhabits an intimate, twilight territory, between restrained sensuality and exposed fragility. From his initial surge with the EPs Swum Baby (2017) and Blood Loss (2018) to his debut album In Praise Of Shadows (2021) — accompanied in counterpoint by the concert‑film A Late Night Special — Allen has developed a language where voice and silence pursue one another, his timbre often compared to Jeff Buckley.

On stage, together with his band of friends, Puma Blue makes room for jazz‑inspired improvisation and arrangements that breathe. After Holy Waters (2023), a more collective album centered on accepting loss, he surprised listeners in 2025 with Antichamber, an ambient, minimalist work composed of field recordings and essential details. That same autumn he began to reveal new music with the single “Desire.” The Milan live set puts all of this to the test: songs that glide from whisper to crescendo, liquid guitars, soft nocturnal grooves, in a show that blends composition and instinct.
