Grupo Frontera

Grupo Frontera arrives in Madrid on July 9, 2026 to present at the Movistar Arena their mix of cumbia, norteño son and romantic balladry that has expanded the reach of Mexican music. Formed in 2019 in the Rio Grande Valley, between Texas and northern Mexico, they began at local parties and uploading covers until their version of “No se va” went viral in 2022. Since then, the group has combined original songs and reinterpretations of pop and Latin hits, with the accordion at the forefront, guitars that envelop the melody, and cumbia rhythms tailored to a contemporary pop format.

On stage, cuts from their debut album El Comienzo (2023) are heard alongside collaborations that have connected them on both sides of the border: Fuerza Regida, Yahritza y Su Esencia, Peso Pluma, and Bad Bunny on “Un x100to.” The live show rests on straightforward melodies, lyrics of love and heartbreak, and a danceable pulse that places the rhythmic structure front and center, leaving room for sing-alongs and for the accordion and guitar dynamics that define their norteño identity. A faithful portrait of their trajectory, brought to Madrid in a night centered on songs and the band’s energy.
